What’s required at check-in?

At arrival Golden Pebble requires a minimum of $100 Pre-authorised from your credit card. If the stay is longer than 1 night this amount may be higher. Pre-authorised funds are held by your financial institution and may be utilised by the hotel to settle any outstanding charges from your stay. Depending on your financial institution these funds may take up to 10 business days to clear after your departure from the hotel.

Alternately a cash or EFTPOS deposit of at least $300 can be accepted, any unused amount will be returned upon your departure.

All reservations require credit card guarantee, due at the time of booking, or a company/ travel agent guarantee. We reserve the right to ask and receive photo id as security to prevent credit card fraud.

At check in a valid Photo ID is required, the name must match the credit card used for preauthorisation and the name the booking was made under.

Cancellations and/or No-Show

Cancellations and amendments can be made up to 24 hours prior to 12pm on the day of arrival and a refund will be organised. Any cancellation made after this time will result in the first night’s room rate to be forfeited.

Due to lower prices of Non-Refundable bookings they require full prepayment. This prepayment cannot be refunded due to Cancellations and/or Non Arrival. However, the dates can be changed but the room rate must be the same or more than the original booking.

For standard bookings, all departures prior to date agreed at time of check-in will be subject to a one night’s early departure charge.

For non-refundable bookings, there will be no refund of the rooms charge.

Family Children / Extra Person

Each room includes the occupancy of 2 adults, children under 18 stay free sharing with parents using existing bedding. For any extra person, bedding is required for which third person rates apply. The Hotel can provide rollaway and/or sofa beds for extra beds.

Various Policies:

Guests must be at least 18 years of age to check in at The Golden Pebble Hotel.

No visitors allowed after 12am, failure to comply may result in a fine of up to $200 and additional guest charges to your account.

A valid credit card guarantee, deposit or pre-payment is required at the time of booking.

The Golden Pebble is a Non Smoking Hotel, and we ask that you refrain from smoking in your room. Evidence of smoking in rooms will incur a $100.00 cleaning fee and possibly an additional day’s room rate on your account. Please help us keep the hotel a smoke free environment.

If any smoke alarm is triggered due to smoking, the guest may be liable for charges of up to $2,000.00.
